2nd meeting of the Board of Studies for BS Zoology and Associate Degree Programs

The 2nd meeting of the Board of Studies for BS Zoology and Associate Degree programs of the colleges affiliated with the University of Turbat (UoT) was held at UoT on 14th of February 2024. Dr. Jahangir Khan, Chairperson of the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences, presided over the meeting. Dr. Shahabuddin Kakar, and Dr. Saeed Ahmed Essote, both Assistant Professors at the University of Balochistan participated in the meeting as subject expert members via video link. Other members included Dr. Naeem Ullah, Dean, Faculty of Science, Engineering, and IT, Ms. Gul Afroz, Assistant Professor and Head of the Zoology Department at Government Girls Degree College, Turbat, Ms. Aziza Aman, and Ms. Mehtab Ibrahim, lectures, Zoology Department at the Government Girls Degree College Turbat also attended the meeting. The major purpose of the meeting was to align the BS and ADS courses with the revised HEC undergraduate policy 2023. The Board addressed various agenda items, resulting in fruitful resolutions after thorough discussions. Notably, the suggestions and recommendations of expert members were endorsed by the participants of the meeting. In his closing remarks, Dr. Jahangir Khan thanked the Board’s members for their active participation and valuable contribution in the meeting.
