UoT's Science-Tech Exhibition 2024: Transformative Experiences

The Science and Innovation Club at the University of Turbat (UoT), in collaboration with the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and IT, organized a Science-Tech Exhibition on February 1st 2024 at UoT.

Various student teams representing different academic disciplines showcased 20 innovative projects and ideas during the exhibition, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for knowledge exchange.

People from different walks of life including faculty members, administrative staff, students from the University of Turbat, teachers and students from different colleges and schools, and individuals from the business community, and civil society visited the exhibition.

The visitors commended the students' creative ideas and projects, terming the exhibition a transformative experience for learning, skill-gaining, and exploration of startups and markets for their endeavors.

The team "P-Biotech" from the Natural and Basic Science Department secured the first position for their remarkable project, while the team "Rangzaar" from the Computer Science Department and "Connect Turbat" from the Management Science Department secured the second and third positions, respectively.

Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, UoT's Pro Vice-Chancellor, along with other university officials, distributed prizes and certificates to the position holders, volunteers, and organizers of the exhibition.

The jury panel, consisting of Dr. Naeemullah, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and IT, Ganguzar Baloch, Registrar UoT, Dr. Rashid Ali, Chairperson of the Computer Science Department, and Meer Bahad, Protocol Officer, evaluated the projects and innovative ideas presented by the participants.

Abdul Basit, President of the Science and Innovation Club, expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Vice Chancellor, Associate Professor Dr. Haneef ur Rehman, and Engineer Bilal Ur Rehman, the focal person of the event, for their efforts in the successful conduct of the event and providing students with a platform to showcase their skills. He also extended thanks to the faculty members, students, and visitors for their participation in the exhibition.
