Provincial Minister for Education chaired a meeting of VCs of PSUs of Balochistan.

The Provincial Minister for Colleges, Higher & Technical Education Department (CH&TED) Ms. Raheela Hameed Durrani chaired an introductory meeting of the Vice Chancellors of the Public Sector Universities (PSUs) of Balochistan in Quetta on 6th May 2024. Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat (UoT) represented the UoT in the said meeting on behalf of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad. The meeting was also attended by VCs/ PVCs of all the PSUs of Balochistan. Dr. Mansoor Ahmed briefed the Minister for Education about the overall progress, remarkable achievements, issues, and financial stress of the University of Turbat. All the VCs/PVCs appreciated the Education Minister for holding the interactive meeting to address the issues and challenges faced by the universities of the province. Ms. Raheela Hameed Durrani listened to the issues and problems of each university in detail and vowed to resolve the key issues of all the PSUs on a priority basis. She assured to take up all the pressing problems of the provincial universities with Chief Minister Balochistan, Chairman HEC, and the Federal Government.
