4th meeting of BoS of Education Department

The fourth meeting of the Board of Studies (BoS) of the Education Department was held on May 7, 2024, in the video conference room of the University of Turbat (UoT). Mr. Manzoor Ahmed, Chairperson of the Education Department, chaired the meeting.
Dr. Fozia Ahmed Baloch, Chairperson of the Education Department at BUITEMS, Quetta, and Mr. Abid Hussain, District Officer Education at Gwadar, attended the meeting as expert members, while faculty members from the UoT's Education Department, including Ms. Mahnaz Aslam, Ms. Ruqia Mirwani and Ms. Mahnaz Bashir also participated in the meeting.
Mr. Manzoor Ahmed extended gratitude to the members for their active participation and valuable suggestions in the meeting. He briefed the meeting on the Education Department's achievements, highlighting its distinguished status with the highest enrollment within the university. He thanked the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, and his team for their support in the development of the Education Department.
The meeting discussed and resolved various agenda items, including curriculum reform, improvements, and changes to the B.Ed. 4-year program, such as coding, adding new courses, removing unnecessary courses, consolidating existing courses, and introducing blended learning courses. The members commended the efforts of the faculty members and administrative staff of the university under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, acknowledging their role in the university's rapid success.
