Second Meeting of the Board of Studies for the BS Urdu Program

The University of Turbat (UoT) conducted the second meeting of the Board of Studies for the BS Urdu program on June 25, 2024, at UoT. The session was chaired by Associate Prof. Dr. Tahir Hakeem from the Institute of Balochi Language and Culture at UoT.
Subject experts Dr. Qandeel Badar, Head of the Urdu Department at SBK Women's University, Quetta, and Ms. Anila Baber, a lecturer in the same department, participated in the meeting. Other attendees included Dr. Adnan Riaz, Assistant Professor, English Department at UoT, Mr. Fazal Karim, and Mr. Gulab Ahmed, both Assistant Professors at Atta Shad Degree College, Turbat, Mr. Shoaib Ahmed, Lecturer at the same colleges, Ms. Zubeda Ghulam Jan Omrani, Lecturer at Govt. Girls Degree College, Turbat, and Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Director Quality Enhancement Cell at UoT.
The Board reviewed and approved the revised curricula for the BS and AD programs in Urdu in accordance with the HEC Undergraduate Education Policy 2023. The members commended UoT's efforts in aligning the syllabus with HEC guidelines and provided constructive suggestions for further improvements. In his closing remarks, Dr. Tahir Hakeem thanked the participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions.
