BSCS Final-year Students at UoT Develop a Mobile Application for the District Police Kech

A team of final-year students from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Turbat (UoT) has developed an innovative mobile application for the District Police Kech. The application, named Shunakht, is designed to enhance accessing criminal records on mobile devices.
The team comprises talented and motivated BS Computer Science students, including Bakhshullah Wahid, Kamil Khan, Shayhaq Ghulam Rasool, and Alim Mayar, who demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication in mobile application development.
In recognition of their outstanding technical expertise and professionalism, the students were awarded certificates of appreciation by Rashid Rehman Zehri, Superintendent of Police (SP) at Kech District.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Turbat (UoT), Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and IT, Dr. Naeem Ullah, and the Chairperson of the Computer Science Department, Dr. Rashid Ali extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students for this outstanding accomplishment.
Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan remarked that this achievement reflects the University of Turbat’s commitment to providing students with cutting-edge technological skills and empowering them to make meaningful contributions to community development through innovation and technology.
