DG of BCS Academy Meets VC UoT

Renowned anthropologist Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Jamali, Director General (DG) of the Balochistan Civil Service Academy, Quetta, Government of Balochistan, visited the University of Turbat (UoT) on February 17, 2025, and met with Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Vice Chancellor of UoT, in his chamber.
During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor shared his vision for institutional development, highlighting the university’s commitment to merit-based placements in all positions to ensure effective and efficient administration and academic excellence for the university's continued growth. He underlined UoT’s collaborative efforts with other institutions to equip Balochistan’s youth with the necessary tools and skills to meet the demands of today’s digital world.
Dr. Hafeez Jamali underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in the areas of governance, education, and professional training to enhance the capabilities of university staff and students and improve public service delivery in Balochistan.
They also underscored the importance of enhancing internship opportunities for students and expanding professional capacity-building initiatives for university faculty and staff. They agreed to organize lecture series, collaborate on research publications, and facilitate scholarly discussions on important contemporary issues.
