The University of Turbat Quality Circle (UTQC) convened its third meeting on May 15, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, to review progress on institutional quality enhancement initiatives. The Vice Chancellor said that UoT is firmly committed to nurturing a culture of excellence in academic and administrative domains. He said, “We are continuously striving to strengthen quality assurance mechanisms, promote innovation in teaching and research, and ensure transparency, efficiency, and accountability in all administrative affairs.”

The Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of systematically “closing the loop” in all quality assurance activities, including the Review for Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE), Programme Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE), and Self-Assessment Reports (SAR). The forum formally endorsed the minutes of the second UTQC meeting and reviewed the Action Taken Report. Members discussed the implementation status of the HEC’s Revamped Quality Assurance Framework. The forum also appointed internal members to constitute the Self-RIPE Panel, tasked with overseeing the internal evaluation process in alignment with HEC’s RIPE guidelines.

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the proactive role of the Quality Enhancement Cell and members of the Quality Circle and reiterated the university’s strong commitment to quality assurance, continuous monitoring, institutional accountability, and meaningful stakeholder engagement in alignment with national standards.
The meeting was attended by members of the UTQC, including deans, directors, and heads of academic and administrative departments.
