UoT MPhil Scholars Successfully Defend Dissertations

On May 20, 2025, MPhil scholars Ms. Durdana Bashir and Mr. Parvez Ahmed from the Institute of Balochi Language and Culture (IBLC) at the University of Turbat (UoT) successfully defended their dissertations. Their research works were supervised by Dr. Sharif Mir, Lecturer, and Dr. Tahir Hakeem, Associate Professor from IBLC. The external examination was conducted online by Dr. Zia-ur-Rehman from Allama Iqbal Open University and Dr. Rahim Bakhsh Mehr, Controller of Examinations from the University of Gwadar.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor (TI), Dean, Faculty of Literature and Languages, chaired the meeting.
Earlier, on May 19, 2025, Ms. Sana Bahram, an MPhil scholar in the Department of Chemistry at UoT, successfully defended her dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Hanif-ur-Rehman, Associate Professor, Department of Natural and Basic Sciences, UoT. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam from Bolan Medical & Health Sciences, Quetta, served as the external examiner via video link. This meeting was chaired by Dr. Naeemullah, Dean, Faculty of Science, Engineering, and IT.
Congratulating the successful scholars, Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director of Graduate Studies, stated that these successful dissertation defenses reflect the University of Turbat’s commitment to academic excellence and research advancement under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan.
