Uniform Statutes for Public Sector Universities of Balochistan Drafted Under the Leadership of UoT’s Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Mansoor Ahmed

In accordance with the directives of the Honorable Governor of Balochistan and Chancellor of Public Sector Universities, Mr. Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, a special committee led by Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat (UoT), has successfully prepared a draft of uniform statutes and rules for all public sector universities of Balochistan, and submitted it to the Honorable Governor of Balochistan on August 26, 2025.
Acknowledging the committee’s accomplishment, Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, described it as a historic milestone. He emphasized that the uniform statutes and rules, formulated for 11 public sector universities of Balochistan, will provide a solid framework for ensuring good governance, transparency, financial discipline, and quality education across the province’s universities.
Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan further added that this visionary and historic initiative of the Honorable Governor of Balochistan, Mr. Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, will not only strengthen governance in public universities but also contribute significantly to financial sustainability and the enhancement of academic standards.
