Students of the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Turbat (UoT), successfully completed a six-week internship during the summer break at various organizations, including the State Bank of Pakistan, Balochistan Revenue Authority, Chaman Dry Fruits, and Darson Securities Karachi.

The Faculty of Business and Economics has extended its sincere gratitude to these esteemed organizations for providing internship opportunities to students.
The Faculty Dean, along with the Chairpersons of the Departments of Management Sciences, Economics, and Commerce, acknowledged the positive approach of these organizations in showing keen interest in training and mentoring UoT students. They emphasized that such internships provide students with valuable practical exposure, enabling them to understand professional work environments, business operations, and management practices. They further expressed the hope that more government and private institutions will extend similar kinds of opportunities in the future.

The Dean also appreciated the efforts of former Chairperson of the Management Sciences Department, Mr. Noroz Khan, Ms. Atiya (Focal Person for Internships, Management Sciences Department), and Dr. Ghulam Jan for their role in facilitating internships for students in these reputed organizations.
UoT Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan highlighted that the University is committed to strengthening university-industry linkages and engaging youth in internships, entrepreneurial initiatives, and other constructive activities. He added that UoT is equally focused on students’ personal growth, intellectual development, and social responsibility, alongside instilling values of unity, self-confidence, and patriotism to prepare them as responsible and active citizens.
