UoT Management Sciences Department Restructures BBA Curriculum to Meet Modern Market Demands

Turbat (December 13, 2025)- The 9th meeting of the Board of Studies (BoS) of the Department of Management Sciences at the University of Turbat (UoT), chaired by Dr. Ghulam Jan, the Head of Department, was held on December 12, 2025, at UoT. The meeting deliberated on key academic matters related to curriculum development and the addition of elective courses. The Board members focused on restructuring and redesigning the BBA curriculum in accordance with the latest revised guidelines provided by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Beenish Malik from IMS, University of Balochistan, Dr. Irfan Siddique, Head of the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship, University of Central Punjab, Dr. Adeel Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, UoT, Dr. Wasim Barkat, Director Graduate Studies, UoT, Dr. Riaz Ahmed Director Quality Enhancement Cell, UoT, senior faculty members of UoT, Dr. Muhammad Tahir Badini, Mr. Badal Khan, Ms. Mahjabeen Faqir, and Mr. Muhammad Yousuf, lecturer Govt. Degree College Turbat.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ghulam Jan expressed his gratitude to the members for their constructive contributions, stating that the revised curriculum would significantly enhance the quality of education and research at the university. He said that under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, the university is committed to enhancing the institutional quality and student learning outcomes, and to equip students with contemporary skills required by the modern business market.
