Eid Gathering Held at the University of Turbat: Vice Chancellor Emphasizes Institutional Development

On the directives of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, an Eid gathering was held on June 2, 2026, at the University's Video Conference Room following the Eid al-Adha holidays.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Languages, Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch (TI), deans, the registrar, directors, heads of academic and administrative departments, faculty members, and administrative staff. On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor personally met faculty and staff members, exchanged Eid greetings, and conveyed his best wishes to the university community.

Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan welcomed the continuation of the tradition of Eid gatherings and highlighted the significance of Eid al-Adha as a festival that embodies the values of sacrifice, brotherhood, mutual respect, and devotion to the will of Almighty Allah. He said that the occasion serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting the rights of others and promoting tolerance and social harmony.

Reaffirming his commitment to the institution, the Vice Chancellor stated that the University of Turbat is a prestigious and valued center of higher learning that belongs to all its stakeholders. He emphasized that the university's continued growth and development require collective efforts, dedication, and a shared commitment to institutional progress.

Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan remarked that the purpose of the gathering was not only to celebrate the joy of Eid but also to strengthen the spirit of mutual respect, unity, and teamwork among members of the university community. He emphasized that sustainable institutional development depends upon promoting an institutional mindset, fostering collective responsibility, and placing the interests of the university above individual considerations.

Highlighting the importance of reconciliation and goodwill, he urged participants to use the festive occasion to set aside differences and grievances and to engage with one another in a spirit of sincerity and mutual respect. He observed that maintaining an atmosphere of cooperation, solidarity, and mutual support within the university and society is a shared national, social, and moral responsibility.

The ceremony concluded with a tea reception hosted by the Vice Chancellor in honor of the faculty members and administrative staff, providing an opportunity for informal interaction and the strengthening of professional and collegial bonds within the university community.
