The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, chaired the 7th meeting of the University of Turbat Quality Circle (UTQC) on June 30, 2026. The meeting was attended by academic deans, departmental chairpersons, administrative directors, and members of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC).

Addressing the meeting, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the implementation of the comprehensive plan designed to align all academic programs with evolving market demands. He announced that HEC-sponsored and in-house capacity-building workshops would be organized to train faculty and administrative staff to effectively integrate modern technology into teaching and administrative operations. He said that the Directorate of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) would be established soon. He instructed the Director QEC to coordinate with departmental chairpersons to expedite the launch of a structured Alumni Tracer System.

Dr. Gul Hasan emphasized that quality assurance is a collective institutional commitment rather than the responsibility of a single office. He also lauded the efforts of the QEC and faculty members in strengthening quality assurance measures across the university.
Earlier, Director QEC, Dr. Riaz Ahmed, briefed the meeting on the successful completion of key milestones related to the Institutional Performance Evaluation (RIPE), Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE), and Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) cycles. During the meeting, the members reviewed the University's progress on quality assurance initiatives and approved several strategic measures aimed at enhancing academic standards and institutional performance.
