Turbat University Faculty Member Dr. Muhammad Waris Completes PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia

Dr. Muhammad Waris, Lecturer in the Department of Commerce at the University of Turbat (UoT), has successfully defended his PhD viva voce on July 28, 2026. He completed his PhD in Green Finance at the School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), where he was also awarded the "Graduate on Time" (GOT) certificate. Dr. Waris completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nurhafiza Abdul Kader Malim.
According to the university spokesperson, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Kamal Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Dr. Adeel Ahmed, Chairperson, Department of Commerce Dr. Mushtaq Muhammad, and Director, Graduate Studies Dr. Waseem Barkat, along with the faculty and administrative staff, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Muhammad Waris on achieving this milestone. The Vice Chancellor lauded his commitment and termed his academic success as a matter of great pride for the university.
