Turbat University's Quality Assurance Efforts Gain National Level Appreciation; PVC Informed PBC Member

A high-level delegation comprising Pakistan Bar Council Member Advocate Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar, Balochistan Bar Council Vice Chairman Advocate Jadain Dashti, Member Najibullah Kakar, and Advocate Nazeer Sabzal visited the main campus of the University of Turbat on September 23, 2026.
Upon arrival, the delegation was received by UoT Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kamal Ahmed, Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Director Public Relations Ijaz Ahmed, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Qayyum, and Campus Coordinator/Assistant Registrar Ghous Bakhsh Bezinjo.
During the visit, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kamal Ahmed highlighted the key institutional milestones achieved by the university’s Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). He informed that through concerted administrative and faculty efforts, UoT has successfully aligned its academic programs with modern standards under the (HEC’s PSG 2023 framework.
The strategic initiatives and achievements of UoT’s QEC were recently commended at a national forum of HEC leadership, vice-chancellors, and QEC head," Dr. Kamal Ahmed stated. He further emphasized that all degree programs offered at the university fully comply with HEC criteria, with active measures underway to secure and renew professional accreditations.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured the administrative and academic blocks, data center, central library, computer laboratories, Senate Hall, and smart classrooms. The delegation members described the university’s infrastructure and academic delivery as exemplary benchmarks for other institutions in the region.
The delegation members assured UoT leadership of their full support in advancing higher education and strengthening legal education initiatives. Dr. Kamal Ahmed expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their endorsement and continued support.
