Empowering Future Tech Leaders: Girls Degree College Students Explore Computing Opportunities at University of Turbat

As part of its ongoing commitment to educational outreach and youth empowerment, the University of Turbat (UoT), on September 25, 2026, hosted a student delegation from Government Girls Degree College, Turbat, led by faculty member Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Mujahid, for an academic exposure visit.
The visitors were welcomed by Department of Computer Science Head Engr. Bilal ur Rehman and lecturer Mr. Zahoor Ahmed, who briefed the students on various computing programs, including Cyber Security, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence, and their scope in this digital era. During Q&A session, students focused on academic roadmaps and career opportunities in computing fields.
After the session, senior UoT students led the delegation on a guided tour of the computer and hardware laboratories, central library, and sports facilities.
According to a university spokesperson, under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hassan, the University is deeply committed to uplifting academic standards in affiliated colleges through its Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), extending them guidance and technical expertise to ensure academic programs, curricula, and teaching standards align with national quality benchmarks.
Concluding the visit, Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Mujahid thanked the university administration and Computer Science faculty members for hosting an inspiring and informative educational visit for the students.
