Department of Natural & Basic Sciences Organizes Sessions on Scientific Writing and International Scholarship Opportunities

The Department of Natural & Basic Sciences, University of Turbat, organized two orientation sessions for students on “Literature Review and Scientific Writing” and “Guidance on Foreign Scholarships and International Higher Education Opportunities, on October 20, 2026 at the smart classroom.
The first session, was conducted in person by UoT faculty Dr. Muhammad Haroon, who provided valuable guidance on effective literature searching and reviewing, scientific writing techniques, and the development of essential academic and research skills.
The second session was conducted online by Mr. Dileep Ahmad, PhD Scholar at Zhejiang University, China who shared valuable insights into international scholarship opportunities, admission pathways, and prospects for pursuing higher education and advanced research at international universities. Both sessions aimed to strengthen students’ academic and research capabilities.
According to the university spokesperson, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, in his message, appreciated the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences for organizing productive interactive sessions. He said such initiatives reflected the university’s commitment to promoting student-oriented activities and encouraging students to pursue higher education and research opportunities at leading international institutions.
