Turbat University Chemistry Students Attend Biochemistry Lab Orientation at Mekran Medical College

The students of the Department of Chemistry, University of Turbat visited Mekran Medical College (MMC), Turbat on October 22, 2026, for an informative and interactive Biochemistry Laboratory Orientation session.
The session was conducted by MMC faculty members Dr. Sagheer, who introduced the students to various laboratory instruments, their working principles, and their applications in biochemical analysis and medical diagnostics. Besides students, the session was also attended by Dr. Zafar Ali, Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Asma Hayat, and Mr. Kia.
Dr. Sagheer also explained various qualitative tests for carbohydrates and their practical applications in biochemical analysis.
The students asked questions, and gained valuable insights into the practical applications of Chemistry. On the occasion, Dr. Zafar Ali thanked College management and Dr. Sagheer for their support in conducting the session.
According to the university spokesperson, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan commended the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to expanding academic and research collaborations with institutions at regional, national, and international levels.
