HEC delegation visits UoT

HEC delegation visits UoT: A delegation of Higher Education Commission led by HEC senior member meritorious professor Dr Raza Bhatti visited University of Turbat and met vice chancellor UoT Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. The delegation also had an interactive session with students and faculty members here on Wednesday September 28, 2016. The member from delegation director planning and development HEC Dr.Tariq Iqbal, CPEC support project energy specialist Mr. Sabeeh Faruqui and UoT officials were also present on this occasion. Vice Chancellor briefed them about three years performance of university, ongoing projects, future plan, research and academic activities, progress on projects related to establishing UoT Gwadar Campus and university of Gwadar during meeting. During address to faculty member Dr. Raza Bhatti lauded pace of development of University in short period of three years in the leadership of vice chancellor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. He shared views and guidance over the newly introduced procedures by HEC for availing local and foreign scholarships including Agaz Haqooq Balochistan, US knowledge scholarship, faculty development and HRD scholarship. Meanwhile faculty members raised their opinion regarding challenges faced by them during the process of availing foreign and local scholarships for higher and advanced studies.
