A delegation from China visited UoT Gwadar Campus

A 13 members Chinese Delegation from China Research Institute Co. visited UoT Gwadar Campus on 19th October, 2018. The purpose of the visit was to share knowledge and experiences for Design Study for Construction of Pak China Technical Institute at Gwadar. The delegation which included Mr. Zhang, Mr. Pu Hai Bo, Mr. Zhang Lian Ghong, Mr Tariq dy director GPA and other members of the China Research Institute Co. went around computer lab, library, CPEC Study Center and different components of the campus.
While giving a briefing to the visitors, the Director Campus Ijaz Ahmed said” for making Balochistan, an educationally competitive province, the establishing of an institute of higher learning in Gwadar, in the shape of University of Gwadar, will have far reaching benefits for the region in particular and country and its people in general. The projects of Pak China Economic Corridor (CPEC) can lead the region to remarkable growth in human resource, and UoT Gwadar Campus (future University of Gwadar) is well suited to harness that human potential and put it to best possible use.”
The management of UoT Gwadar Campus and the delegation agreed to share technical and educational experiences in designing and construction of technical and educational institutions in Gwadar.
Earlier, on behalf of UoT’s vice chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, the director campus along with faculty members accorded the delegation a warm welcome on the arrival at campus and also presented the souvenir of the university and annual report to the visitors.
