ORIC organized Lecture program on “Ethics & Etiquette in our life” at UoT

The University of Turbat’s (UoT) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that ‘’behaving with ethics and etiquettes with your colleagues senior or junior at workplace is very important to create a comfortable environment for learning and promotion of image building of the institution".

He was speaking at occasion of a motivational lecturer program on "Importance of Ethics and Etiquette in our lives" organized by Department of Commerce UoT in collaboration with Office of the Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at University of Turbat on 29th October 2018. Miss Hadeel Sahal Albalushi, a TV Host and CEO Culture Online was the resource person of the lecture program in which she shared her views on ethical behaviour and her success story the journey from Eman to Hadeel Sahal Albaloushi with the female faculty members and students of the Turbat University. Highlight the importance of ethics and etiquette in our life and educational institution VC UoT said that respecting the contributions of your colleagues and co-workers is the essence of mannerism and humanity which absence can devastate the face of life and institution as well.

He said that the management of Turbat University was committed for taking firm stand to deal with problems for the welfare of employees and development of the institution. Insisting upon observance of ethics and etiquette at work place Dr Sabir said that ethical behaviour inspires healthy and inter-active communication, honesty and integrity among staff and students of the university.

Vice chancellor appreciated the efforts of Director ORIC Dr Adeel Ahmed for launching series of lecture programs and seminars on different themes and subjects of contemporary era in collaboration with other teaching departments. Lecturer Commerce Department Miss Nasima also shared her views on the subject.

The lecture program was attended by UoT registrar Ghulam Farooq Baloch, QEC Director Prof Dr Gul Hassan, Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Chairman Commerce Department Essa Karim, Ms Ruqia Mirwani, director Gwadar campus Ijaz Ahmed, faculty members and students.
