9th meeting of Finance and Planning Committee of UoT held

The 9th Finance and Planning Committee of the University of Turbat (UoT) on 28th February 2019 approved a proposal to establish a Sub Campus in Panjgur, the Committee chaired by the UoT Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir was also informed that UoT Sub Campus in Gwadar has also been transformed into a full-fledged university.
VC Dr. Sabir lauded the institution for its commitment to financial excellence and good governance, earning number of achievements and accolades to be counted as among of the best institutions of higher education that are developing rapidly. The Vice Chancellor said that his institution would never compromise over transparency in utilizing public funds for promotion of higher education in the region.
Besides approving different academic and development projects the committee also accorded approval to the university’s revised budget estimates for the current financial year 2018-2019 and finalized budget estimates for the 2019-2020. The committee also confirmed the minutes of the 8th meeting of Finance and Planning Committee. Earlier the UoT Director Finance Rehmatullah briefed the meeting regarding agenda items of the meeting. The meeting was also attended by the UoT Registrar Ghulam Farooq Baloch, Director QEC Prof Dr. Gul Hassan, LUAWMS Professor Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, Dean Research Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Assistant Professor Abdul Qayyum, and Engineer Kamal Muhsin.
