UoT to expedite efforts for youth development, VC Dr. Jan Muhammad

The Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University of Turbat (UoT) Professor Dr. Jan Muhammad said that the University of Turbat was committed to promoting collaborative programs and projects with other institutions in the field of education, research, technical expertise, and youth development.
He expressed these views during the scholarship cheque distribution ceremony of the Youth Communication for Development (YCD) project under Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Funds (PPAF) which was held on 19th April 2021 in the Committee Room of UoT.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad distributed Cheques, Bags, and Diaries among the students under the YCD project on this occasion.
UoT’s Registrar Ghulam Farooq, Dean Faculty of Science and Engineering Dr. Naeemullah, Director Finance Shahbeek Syed, PSO to VC Chaker Hyder, Assistant Registrar Ghaus Bakhsh, and students attended the event.
VC said that his institution would jointly work with PPAF in bringing sustainability to the socio-economic development of the region through various projects and programs initiated by PPAF in various fields, especially education.
He said that qualified human resources and researchers are the two most important and inevitable elements for societal uplift and prosperity. Dr. Jan Muhammad said that his administration would promote a culture of research and entrepreneurship for fostering integrative thinking among academicians and students so that they could meet the emerging needs of the industries and society.
