Education Department organizes Arts, Crafts and Calligraphy Exhibition

The Education Department of the University of Turbat (UoT) organized an Exhibition of the teaching of art, calligraphy, and science in the multipurpose hall of UoT on 6th April 2021.
The students of B.Ed. (Honors) 3rd semester of the Education Department showcased their science model and artworks in the exhibition.
The UoT’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of Dean Faculty of Art, Humanities & Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor, Chairman Education Department Manzoor Ahmed, faculty members, and students.
The Vice-Chancellor along with the dean and faculty members visited each project, model, and charts one by one. Appreciating the artworks of the students, VC Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad said that such activities would help in digging out the hidden talent and creativity of the student. He emphasized promoting teaching and learning through the scientific method in the university.
Appreciating the efforts of the Education Department, Dean Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor said that it would be much productive to promote teaching and learning through the assignment and practical work in the form of a project model instead of presenting the usual PPT on paper.
While apprising the VC regarding the objective of the exhibition, Chairman Education Department Manzoor Ahmed said that besides promoting project method for the teaching concepts of science, Art, and Calligraphy subjects, the main objective of the event was also to train the student teachers with modern scientific techniques of teaching through collaborative/group learning approaches in order to change the destiny of the students in schools of this region.
