UoT and ESP signed University Sports Commercialization MoU

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Turbat (UoT) and Elite Sports Pakistan (ESP) Pvt Limited at UoT on 12th November 2021. In-charge Sports Mr. Essa Karim and Business Development Officer ESP- Balochistan Mr. Akmal Khan signed the agreement in the presence of vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad and other University officials.
Meer Bahad Baloch Protocol Officer, Mr. Ghous Bakhsh Assistant Registrar General, and Mr. Mehrab Saleem Assistant Sports were also present on the occasion.
Congratulating the UoT’s Sports Department and ESP officials over the occasion, the vice-chancellor Dr. Jan Mohammad emphasized strengthening cooperation between two organizations for uplifting sports activities in the University of Turbat.
Muhammad Jamal Qureshi Chief Executive Officer and Muzammil Khan Wazeeri Director Operations of Elite Sports Pakistan thanked the vice chancellor for signing MoU with ESP for the promotion of sports activities in the university. In their goodwill message, they expressed commitment to join hands with the University in promoting sports culture in the region.
Highlighting the objectives of the agreement, Mr. Akmal Khan said that ESP will commercialize University sports through filming, broadcasting, and creating university players and team fan following in print and electronic media as well as in social media. This will help to encourage the University’s students to participate in sports activities. He said that this agreement would also serve the purpose of providing an alternative source to the university to create its revenue-generating stream by participating in the ESP-organized events and selling merchandise in collaboration with the ESP.
