Turbat University’s faculty member and student awarded graduate scholarship in Law.

Mr. Nadeem Ahmed, the Chairperson of the Law Department of the University of Turbat (UoT), secured a PhD foreign scholarship under the Balochistan Law Graduates Scholarship from the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Mr. Ali Azeem, a recent LLB graduate of the Law Department of the UoT also secured an LLM scholarship in the foreign category under the foregoing scholarship program announced by the HEC. Mr. Ali secured the first position throughout Balochistan in the LLM program scholarship.
The HEC is providing foreign and indigenous scholarships to the Law graduates of Balochistan to develop human resource in the field of law for educational institutions and judiciary in Balochistan province.
The project "Law Graduates Scholarship Program for Balochistan for Study Abroad" was approved by the Govt. of Pakistan in September 2018 to award a total of 100 scholarships in batches over a period of five years.
The UoT’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Dean of Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, faculty members, and administrative officers extended their heartiest congratulations to both Mr. Ali Azeem and Mr. Nadeem Ahmed for their remarkable achievements, which is indeed an honor for the entire university.
