Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch's Address at the Law Department of UoT

On April 19, 2024, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, former Chief Minister of Balochistan and a Member of the Balochistan Assembly from Turbat, visited the Law Department at the City Campus of the University of Turbat on the invitation of Prof. Dr. Gul Hassan, Dean Faculty of Law and delivered a lecture on the Role of 18th Amendment in Constitutional Development. The said lecture program was organized by the Law Society of the University of Turbat as part of a lecture series on the 1973 Constitution. Former Senator Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch was a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Reforms, which was constituted for the 18th Constitutional Amendment back in 2009/10. Justice Retired Shakeel Baloch and Advocate Qasim Ali Gajezai Chairman of the Executive Committee Balochistan Bar Council graced the lecture session, which was attended by faculty members and students of the Law Department. Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch also interacted with the faculty members and students and assured support to the Law Faculty for the provision of academic-related facilities at all forums.
