Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club University of Turbat (UoT) in collaboration with the Department of Natural & Basic Sciences organized a cleanliness drive on Friday 19th April 2024 at the main campus of UoT. The cleanliness drive was aimed to raise awareness among students regarding the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and hygienic. The drive encouraged students to take an active part in cleaning the campus and promoting a cleaner and healthier environment. The objective of the event was also to create a sense of responsibility and ownership among students towards their environment and to promote a culture of cleanliness.
The benefits of this drive were numerous. Firstly, it helped to promote a positive and healthy environment, which is essential for the physical and mental well-being of the students. Secondly, it encouraged students to take ownership of their surroundings and to develop a sense of responsibility towards keeping them clean. This helped to foster a sense of community and collaboration among students, which is crucial for creating a harmonious and positive campus environment. Lastly, the drive helped to raise awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and its impact on their overall health and well-being.
Overall, the cleanliness drive was a great success, and believe that it will have a lasting impact on the students and their attitudes towards cleanliness and hygiene. GYM Club UoT will continue organizing such initiatives in the future to promote a cleaner, healthier, and more positive environment on our campus.
