UoT organizes a session on "Youth Engagement in National Integration and Social Cohesion"

A session on "Youth Engagement in National Integration and Social Cohesion" was conducted on November 22, 2024, by the Department of Political Science at the University of Turbbat (UoT), in collaboration with the UoT Peace Advocacy Club.

The keynote speakers for the event Mr. Jameel Ahmed and Mr. Bahudin, faculty members at the Department of Political Science, underscored the vital role of youth in fostering national unity and enhancing social cohesion.

They said that the youth's energy, innovation, and fresh perspectives can lead to transformative changes in areas such as governance, education, and technology.

The speakers emphasized that by investing in our youth, empowering them with skills, and creating spaces for their voices to be heard, we can ensure a brighter and more inclusive future for Pakistan.

Student participants emphasized that national integration cannot be achieved unless all segments of society, especially the youth, are given equal opportunities to succeed and contribute. 

In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the Department of Political Science, Mr. Changiz Ahmed highlighted the key role of youth in promoting national integration. 

He emphasized that the active involvement of young people in socio-political processes is crucial for achieving long-term stability, unity, and progress in any nation.
