UoT VC Visits BACT to Strengthen Collaboration in Addressing Academic Challenges

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat (UoT), Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, visited the Balochistan Academy for College Teachers (BACT) in Quetta on December 5, 2024. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions and address key academic challenges.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan commended BACT for its pivotal role in improving the quality of education in the province. He pledged his full support to address academic challenges faced by colleges affiliated with UoT, particularly in the areas of Associated Degree Programs (ADP), faculty training, and curriculum development, to further enhance the academic outcomes of the colleges.
Earlier, the Director of BACT, Prof. Nawaz Somoro, warmly welcomed the Vice Chancellor and briefed him on the academy’s vision, mission, objectives, achievements, and future plans. He highlighted the critical role of BACT in the capacity-building of college teachers and elevating educational standards across Balochistan.
The Chief Instructor of BACT, Barkat Ismail, and Prof. Iftekhar Baloch were also present during the visit, underscoring the shared commitment to nurturing academic excellence and teacher development in the region.
