Students of Faculty of Business and Economics Complete Six-Week Internships in Leading Organizations Across Pakistan

Students of the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Turbat (UoT), completed their six-week internship programs in various renowned public and private sector organizations across Pakistan during the summer vacation 2026.
According to the University’s spokesperson, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan appreciated the valuable support and cooperation extended by participating organizations in providing meaningful internship opportunities to the University's students. In his message, he reaffirmed university’s commitment to strengthening university-industry linkages and creating more opportunities for students to gain practical experience, develop professional competencies, and prepare themselves for successful careers.
Following the summer internship program, a certificate distribution ceremony was held at UoT, in which the participating students (internees) were awarded certificates. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Ghulam Jan, Head of the Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Mushtaq Muhammad, Head of the Department of Commerce, Dr. Muhammad Yaqoob, Head of the Department of Economics, Mr. Ameer Bux, Lecturer, Department of Economics, Ms. Atiya Aslam (Focal Person Internship program), and other faculty members said that the students had completed their internship program in prestigious organizations, including the State Bank of Pakistan, Darson Securities Limited, Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), Gwadar Port Authority (GPA), Chamman Dry Fruits, Balochistan Board of Investment & Trade, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), Amana Reality Group and various commercial banks of Pakistan. They said that the internships provided students with valuable practical exposure and an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in real-world professional environments.
They further appealed to public and private sector organizations across Pakistan to come forward and extend similar internship opportunities to University of Turbat students in the future.
