University of Turbat's Sociology Students Complete Internship Program at Leading Institutions Across Balochistan

Senior students of the Department of Sociology at the University of Turbat (UoT) have successfully completed their eight week internship program at several prominent institutions across Balochistan, including the Kech Thalassemia Care Centre, the Social Welfare Department, the Balochistan Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, the National Rural Support Program, and the People's Primary Healthcare Initiative.

Certificates were distributed among the students by KTCC Chairman Arshad Arif and Social Welfare Department officials, including Imtiaz Sakhi, Muhammad Essa, and Shakir Ali Shakir in recognition of their successful completion of the program.

Dr. Kamal Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Tahir Hakeem, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Dr. Nadil Baloch, Chairman of the Sociology Department, expressed their gratitude to the heads of these institutions for facilitating UoT students throughout the internship program.

According to the University's spokesperson, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan said the university remains committed to providing students with practical, hands-on exposure that complements classroom learning and helps produce socially responsible graduates equipped to serve their communities. He added that such inititiatives would be extended to other departments to further strengthen the university's connection with the community it serves.
