UoT holds 12th meeting of Finance and Planning Committee

The University of Turbat’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Jan Muhammad on 27th July 2021 presided over the 12th  meeting of the Finance and Planning Committee at the meeting hall of the University. The meeting was also attended by Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor, Ex-Director Health Services, Dr. Taj Baloch, Dean Faculty of Economics, Commerce and Business Administration, Dr. Waseem Barkat, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Lecturer Department of Commerce, Rehmat Ullah, Deputy Director Finance HEC, Aziz Ullah, Director QEC, Dr. Gul Hassan, Registrar Ghulam Farooq and Director Finance (A) Shabeek Syed.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor urged to ensure financial, academic, and administrative excellence in the University. He vowed that necessary initiatives would be launched to take the university on a new path of innovation and development.

Besides, confirming the minutes of the previous meeting of the Committee, the house discussed and resolved the Revised Budget Estimates for the financial year 2020-21 and Finalized Budget 2021-22 and sent their recommendations to the upcoming meeting of the Syndicate. The Committee also discussed and resolved the matters related to reinvestment of Endowment Fund, Additional Remuneration of Dean, HoD, Director and other In-charge of different offices in the UoT, Disparity Reduction Allowance, financial impact of the staff of University’s Model School and establishment of Directorate of Information Technology (IT) in UoT. The house also approved to increase the remuneration of the Teaching Fellows and Visiting Faculty members of the University from Fall Semester 2021.
