One-Day Training Session on Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement at UoT

The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of the University of Turbat (UoT) successfully organized a one-day training session on the Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) at the University’s Video Conferencing Hall on March 20, 2025.

The session was conducted by Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Director QEC, and attended by program teams from various academic departments of UoT, consisting of faculty members.
The training session focused on the eight standards of PREE, equipping participants with essential knowledge on program evaluation, self-assessment, and strategies for continuous improvement.
Dr. Riaz Ahmed also identified the difference between Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and PREE, providing valuable insights into their respective roles in quality assurance.

The session featured interactive discussions, with participants actively engaging in the review process and quality assurance strategies.
Dr. Riaz Ahmed emphasized the importance of maintaining high academic standards through structured assessment and continuous enhancement.
The training concluded with a commitment to implementing best practices in program evaluation, reinforcing the university’s dedication to academic excellence.
