Empowering Future Leaders, UoT Education Department Organizes Guidance and Counseling Session for Local School Students

Turbat (November 21, 2025) The B.Ed. Honors 6th-semester students of the Education Department at the University of Turbat (UoT) organized a Guidance and Counseling Session on November 20, 2025, under the supervision of faculty member Ms. Hani Badal. Senior students and teachers from various government schools in Turbat, including Girls High School Dagarikhan, Boys High School Ginna, Girls High School Ginna, Boys High School Kalatuk, and Girls High School Kalatuk, attended the session.
The resource person for the event, Mr. Chakar Hyder, Director, Student Affairs, highlighted the importance of early academic planning, personal development, and career selection. He underscored essential areas for career building, such as goal setting, time management, self-awareness, confidence building, and identifying individual strengths and interests.
Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Tahir Hakeem, appreciated the efforts of the students, who played an active role in organizing, coordinating, and managing the event. He stated that under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, more informative, motivational, and impactful workshops and sessions will be conducted for students of schools and colleges affiliated with the University of Turbat.
Earlier, upon arrival at the university, the faculty and students of the Department of Education warmly welcomed the visiting teachers and students, expressing gratitude for their active participation in the session. Senior faculty members, including Mr. Manzoor Ahmed and Ms. Mahnaz Bashir, along with other faculty and students, were also present on the occasion. At the conclusion of the session, participants asked questions regarding various fields of study, which were comprehensively answered by the resource person and the students of the Education Department.
